FEATURES OF USING TOP-LOADING WASHING MACHINES_

The main difference between models of this type is the location of the hatch. If for washing machines with front loading it is located on the front wall of the case, then for products with a vertical hatch it is located on the top cover.

This feature makes the washing machine convenient for use in small spaces where there is not enough free space to open the hatch door.

However, it must be taken into account that such equipment cannot be installed inside a cabinet, cabinet or under a countertop. Therefore, placing it in the kitchen, hiding it from prying eyes, is unlikely to work. But in a small and narrow bathroom there is enough space for it.

In terms of the type and number of washing and spinning modes, models with vertical loading are in most cases inferior to products with a front hatch. However, some powerful varieties may well be worthy competition.

By all other criteria, automatic machines are almost the same. All processes are performed automatically:

  • filling the tank with water;
  • watershed;
  • heating;
  • delayed washing or soaking;
  • directly washing clothes;
  • rinsing;
  • wring out
  • drying

All that is required from the owner is to load things, pour in powder, pour in rinse aid and select the desired operating mode.

If we consider both types of machines from the technical side, then a feature of models with vertical loading is the location of the bearings relative to the tank.

For front-loading equipment they are located at the back, and for vertical type equipment they are on the sides. Thus, the latter have not one bearing assembly, but two. This is what, according to experts, makes such a machine more reliable.

The capacity of a top-loading model depends on its dimensions. It can be compact or activator (for large rooms and laundries). The minimum width of the product is 40 centimeters. The standard depth is 60–62 cm. The height varies from 85 to 90 centimeters.
